Meet Our Team

Danielle J. Long earned her Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and her B.F.A. in Drama from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts.  She is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and Georgia.   

For more than a decade, Danielle’s legal experience has been rooted in public interest work, including Social Security Disability appeals, administrative hearings, and a primary focus on parent defender work.  Her legal background reflects a commitment to indigent defense and helping clients navigate complex systems with clarity and compassion. 

As part of the Inherit Guard network, Danielle is excited to expand into estate planning with a deep appreciation for the importance and honor of helping individuals and families preserve their wishes and care for the legacies they hope to leave behind.  As a classically trained actress as well as an attorney, Danielle looks forward to bringing a storyteller’s ear, thoughtful communication, and a strong sense of humanity to her work – listening closely to the people, values, and stories at the heart of each person’s planning goals.  Outside of work, Danielle loves going to the movies, hosting community events, and cheering on her son.
